SANDHILL

Sandhill's ice wine packaging had become old and dusty and had lost its appeal to wine lovers and tourists.

The brief was to make the packaging and bottle feel decedent. It had to look impressive as you poured wine for guests or unwrapped it as a gift.

The re-design helped secure an exclusive supply agreement with the duty-free stores at Pearson Airport in Toronto – the world’s single largest retailer of icewine.

This project also included a ‘bonus brief’ - To create a fun interactive teaching aid to help Sandhill educate people in their tasting rooms or at events. The solution I came up with was to build a series of boxes that held the unique soil compositions from their six vineyards.
